Jazz at the Lake: Lake George Jazz Weekend 2017 – Saturday, September 16 & Sunday, September 17
One of the final highlights of summer in Lake George is going on this Saturday and Sunday – the 2017 Lake George Jazz Weekend! This free two-day concert series will feature talented jazz musicians performing at Shepard Park in the heart of the village, including Lyric Fury, The Cookers, and Emilio Solla.
Warrensburg Riverfront Farmers Market: Apple Festival – Friday, September 15
Take a trip to the Warrensburg Riverfront Farmers Market this Friday from 3:00pm-6:00pm for their 4th Annual Apple Festival! Enjoy apple products, discover apple recipes, enter the Apple Dessert Contest, listen to live music, and purchase some local produce.
Oktoberfest at The Great Escape – Saturday, September 16 & Sunday, September 17
It’s time for Oktoberfest at The Great Escape & Splashwater Kingdom. This Saturday and Sunday will be the amusement park’s first of two Oktoberfest weekends this year. Stop by for festive food, traditional German music and dancing, and a great selection of fall beers.

The Shirt Factory in Glens Falls is hosting a unique event this Saturday – the Big B Festival! This fundraiser for the Glens Falls Youth Center will feature bands, BBQ, beer, bread, brownies, beans, and more. The event will run from 10:00am-6:00pm.

Hemmings Motor News 11th Annual Concours d’Elegance – Friday, September 15 – Sunday, September 17
Although the 2017 Adirondack Nationals Car Show is over, you will still be able to see tons of classic vehicles in Lake George this weekend at the Concours d’Elegance. Stop by the Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park and check out all of the pre-1974 automobiles on display from Friday through Sunday.

Feel like hitting the trails? Sign up for the Mountain Bike Skills Development Camp this Saturday at Gore Mountain. Learn to ride your mountain bike with more control and efficiency along wooded trails, rocks, and stream beds. All-day and half-day options are available for this fun development camp.
King George Fishing Derby – Friday, September 15 – Sunday, September 17
Get ready for a full weekend of family fishing fun at the 3rd Annual King George Fishing Derby in Lake George. There will be both adult and junior fishing divisions, and over $15,000 in prizes will be awarded out. The event includes multiple launch sites, live music, food and beverages, door prizes, and more.

Endless Summer – Winter Can WAIT – Friday, September 15
WAIT House, a nonprofit organization that helps homeless youth in the local community, will host their annual fundraiser at Dunham’s Bay Resort this Friday from 6:00pm-10:30pm. Wear your best surfer-style attire and head over to the resort for live music by Big Fez and The Surfmatics, a buffet dinner, a silent auction, and more surfing fun. Admission is just $40.
2nd Annual Boating for Babies – Saturday, September 16 & Sunday, September 17
For the second year in a row, Yankee Boating Center in Diamond Point will host Boating for Babies, a fundraiser for Glens Falls Hospital’s snuggery. During this weekend, proceeds from boat rentals will benefit this great cause. Not only that, but Yankee Boating Center is taking 50% off regular boat rental rates for this event.
