Poseidon’s Palace will consist of 35 suites and will be modeled after undersea resorts in tropical locations, like the Caribbean and Figi. Guests will be able to enjoy all the amenities of rooms on the land, while experiencing Lake George from beneath the surface like never before.
Poseidon’s Palace will be located approximately one mile north of Lake George Village on the east side of the lake near the site of the Sunken Fleet of 1758. As part of their stay, each guest will have the opportunity to go on a guided exploration of the seven bateaux that were sunk there during the French and Indian War.
Guests of the hotel will park in a lot on the shore and will walk across a bridge to the Palace’s on-water lobby. From the lobby, a spiral staircase brings guests below the surface to the sprawling network of pressurized suites.
Poseidon’s Palace is in the final stages of planning, and construction will begin once all phases are approved. Reservations at the Palace are sure to be snatched up quickly, so keep a close watch on the project as it progresses!
*April Fools! Lake George is actually not getting an underwater hotel, but I’d be the first to book a reservation if one was built!

Said perfectly. With construction, there is a high chance of garbage, metal, aluminum, and gas getting into the water. That would seriously hurt the underwater animal’s life.

Hardly any affordable apartments in the county for the working class and the poor (disabled / elderly / working poor), yet the county’s all for this garbage, and of course “luxury apartments” Don’t tell me there’s freedom in America. Economic inequality is still inequality—and freedom without equality doesn’t exist…and you know they won’t want to pay local staff decent wages or benefits, LOL

Nancy you are a git…. What so capatilism is no longer allowed in this country? If you spent to create such a hotel people shouldn’t stay there? All because there are people suffering? I get your point I TRULY do, but the rich are going to blow thousands a night on a hotel because they can, should it go to other causes? Sure, but who are you to tell anyone how to spend their money? I mean choosing how to spend your money is your right and again leads to equality….
I am 100% in your line of thinking, don’t get me wrong. However telling someone they can’t do something also breaks equality… They are equally able to decide what they wish to do with what they own just as you are 🙂
