1. Benefit Dinner & Dance in Honor of Matt Congdon
Saturday, November 21
On Saturday evening, Glens Falls Elks Lodge #81 will host a benefit dinner and dance, including a basket raffle, a 50/50, great food, door prizes, and live Irish music by Triskele. Proceeds will benefit Matt Congdon, a man who has done so much for the youth of our area.

The Antiques Market Place will have a Holiday Open House at its new location on State Route 149. There will be homemade refreshments and sales throughout the shop, along with a special display of antique toys. 20 quality dealers will offer items that are rustic, formal, and everything in between!

The 2015 NYSPHSAA Girls Volleyball Championship Tournament will be held this weekend at the Glens Falls Civic Center. The pool play semifinals will take place on Saturday, while the finals in each of the five classes will be played on Sunday.

Looking to kick off the holiday season? Head to South Glens Falls for the annual Post Star Holiday Parade! It steps off from Carriage Traders at 1:00pm, and proceeds north on Route 9. More than 110 entries will be participating this year!
