Lake George-ers, get your bowling shoes ready, because Lake George Lanes & Games is now open for business! After several months of renovations, this bowling alley turned family fun center has opened its doors to the public for some good ‘ole fashioned family fun in the Lake George Village!
Purchased by the Kenny family, the bowling alley (formally Lake George Bowl) has been reconstructed into a new family entertainment complex, perfect for any age. Complete with a bowling alley, snack bar, laser tag, and arcade, this new family fun center is appealing to little ones and adults alike – just as the Kenny family intended. After speaking with David Kenny Jr., this new complex sounds exactly like what the Lake George Village needs.
The new Lake George Lanes &Games is the ideal location for a family outing. Equipped with galactic bowling and a bar for the adults, but also greeting guests with a giant, glowing arcade area for the kids – there is really something for everyone. It’s no surprise it’s already drawing in reservations for birthday parties and galactic bowling nights are packed!
While David reported to me that they are continuing on the construction of the restaurant and the second story, they have opened their bowling lanes, arcade, climbing structures, and two-level laser tag arena (which is very soon to be completed).
This family fun center is truly that – a place where you can bring the whole family, and everyone is sure to have a great time. The multi-level indoor playground is sure to keep the kiddos entertained, especially with the brand new Redemption Arcade alongside it. As a perfect compliment to a day of bowling with the kids, parents can also sneak out for the night to enjoy galactic bowling! With great beers on tap, the older crowd can enjoy all the lights, music and fun!
My personal favorite and what I’m most excited for – the Adirondack-themed two-story laser tag area!
While the laser tag area is still undergoing some final touch-ups, I was able to walk through the neon-lit complex. While you may be thinking that all laser tag venues are one-in-the-same, think again. David informed me that multiple targets and challenges will be thrown into the normal mix of the game, along with the ability to have more than two teams challenge one another at a time. Definitely seeing a laser tag outing in my near future!
So while the majority of the wait is finally over, we still have a little bit more to wait for as the family entertainment center continues in building their full service restaurant (complete with a spectacular view of the lake) and their second floor. Yet, not to worry – there is still plenty of fun to be had while we wait!
