The market is held Friday afternoons from 3-6 p.m., June through October, on the banks of the scenic Schroon River in the Warrensburgh Mills Historic District, on River Street (Route 418) near Curtis Lumber.
The market is a “producer-only” market, limiting sales to locally grown produce, wine, baked goods, preserves, maple syrup, honey, dairy, poultry, meats, plants, soaps and lotions, and more. All prepared foods are made “from scratch”, utilizing locally grown ingredients whenever possible.
In addition to the weekly farmers market there will also be themed monthly festivals to attend!
- June 6th – Rhubarb Festival
- July 18th – Adirondack Riverfront Arts Festival
- August 15th – Bountiful Harvest Festival
- September 19 – Apple Festival
- October 11 – Garlic Festival
Be sure to bring the family to learn how to prepare recipes, preserve the harvest and create simple crafts. It is sure to be fun for all ages!
You just can’t beat the flavor of locally grown food from the farmers market, and the festivals at the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmer’s Market are a great way to spotlight each one. Which festival are you most excited to attend?
