Lake George Fall Foliage Report – Current View From Top Of The World

Are you a fan of LAKE GEORGE on Facebook? If not, you should snap to it. You don’t know what you’re missing out on. One of our many regional admins for the page is the highly talented Carl Heilman II, a local author and photographer who posts some of the most stunning photos of the region onto our page.

Heilman posted a photo over the weekend, taken from Top of the World Golf Course, showing an accurate report of the current fall foliage conditions in Lake George. Have a look:

As you can tell from the photo, much of the foliage has begun turning, but the region has still not hit peak viewing. A general timeline for fall foliage viewing in the Adirondacks puts Lake George’s fall foliage peak typically at around the 2nd or 3rd week in October.

Are you planning a trip to the region to see the fall colors here at the lake? Next week and the following week are on pace to be the best time for peak fall foliage viewing in Lake George.
