Well, would you look at this? Looks a little different now-a-days, huh?
On the Library of Congress, this photo is simply titled, “Main Street in village of Lake George”. I can only assume that, like many towns along Rte. 9, this view is now what is Canada Street.
It’s hard to picture, since Canada Street is so developed these days, but that’s what makes throwbacks so cool. I especially like to imagine trying to have an Americade on this street. Obviously, those train tracks would be a problem.
What do you think stands here now, based on this perspective?
