It is two days before the Christmas holiday, and I thought I would share a pic of one of my favorite ornaments. This ornament is placed on the front of the tree, as it signifies so much of what is special to me.
The largest significance is that it originated from my favorite travel area. Christmas multi-colored light bulbs represent one of my favorite symbols of this beautiful season. Third, the anchor holds a monumental spot in my heart.
The last few years have contained their share of challenges for me. Accepting that each day’s plans may not always proceed the way I would like them to is a personal challenge in itself. However, one area in my life that never changes is Lake George. Yes, places change, people move….the beauty that is Lake George itself never goes away or disappoints. Lake George has always been there for me and has sustained me through some of the most trying times. This destination has become my anchor in more ways than one.
As the holidays approach, I am grateful for the gift of sharing this heartfelt blog with all of my readers. My hope for everyone is that he/she finds that anchor in whatever journey is happening and celebrating it with others. I wish you a Merry Christmas and any other holidays you celebrate!!
