Network Support Specialist

Our client is hiring for a motivated, technical candidate to join their Technical Support team. This company provides technical services for medium sized businesses in the Capital Region. They offer a collaborative, energetic culture and are seeking like-minded candidates to fill their Network Support Specialist role. In this position, you will work with clients remotely to set up, configure and troubleshoot various hardware and software products. You will respond to calls, emails and tickets and be responsible for triaging and solving issues in a timely fashion. Regular hours for this position are 8am-5:30pm, but some flexibility for on-call hours will be required. This position offers a competitive salary and generous benefits.

Successful candidates will possess the following skills, education and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree, Associates degree with relevant experience may be considered
• Technical certifications are a plus
• Minimum two (2) years of Network Support experience
• Strong working knowledge of Office 365
• Knowledge of servers, routers, switches and firewalls
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting Exchange
• Virtualization experience
• Soft skills: Strong communication, interest in working in a changing environment, team player, personable
