February Hiking at Little Notch

When: Saturday, Feb 22, 2020 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Cost: Donations Are Welcome

You are all cordially invited to a winter hiking/snowshoeing day at Camp Little Notch on Saturday, February 22, 2020!

We are hosting Winter Open Hiking from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. We will meet at the Inman Pond trailhead, hike or snowshoe the mile road into the camp, then hike to the Mount Hope Iron Furnace, followed by free hiking on the property. Leashed dogs are welcome!

If you love being outside in the wintertime, this event is for you! Bring a lunch! Bring your camera because this place is so beautiful. Meet people who also love winter hiking, and explore an historic camp which has been around since 1939. The Iron Furnace dates to before the Civil War.

If we need to cancel due to weather, it will be posted on our Facebook page. This is not a hike for beginners or children under 11 - the trails are usually not broken and there is no cell phone service. We will be walking the mile into camp from Sly Pond Road.

Donations to CLN are welcome, but not mandatory! The donation will go toward the maintenance of the property and purchase of more tents so that more people can enjoy CLN during the warmer months.

To attend, you are required to RSVP to tesslecuyer@gmail.com by February 20, 2020.
