An Ayurvedic Guide to Healthy living

April 11

Wednesday | 6:30 to 8:30pm | Queensbury Campus

Ayurveda, the 5,000 year old science of medicine from India, offers a natural way to achieve wellness and joy. According to Ayurvedic principles, each of us has a unique constitution governed by our physical and emotional makeup, as well as our lifestyle — like the foods we eat and what time we go to sleep. These constitutions are called doshas, and they are linked to the elements. Balancing them can alleviate health issues such as stress, weight gain, inflammation, insomnia, bloating, digestion and more. You will be introduced to this system of health that offers a way to learn more about who you truly are and what you personally need.
