The Adirondack Ballet Theater is pleased to announce their adaption of the renowned classic children’s tale The Wizard of Oz – Our Journey down the Yellow Brick Road, to be performed March 23rd and March 25th at the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls, New York.

This year’s local star performers include Allison Harris (Age 16 of Queensbury) as the Wicked Witch of the West, Audrey Burkhardt (Age 17 of Warrensburg) as Glinda the Good Witch of the North, graduating senior Victoria Wood (Age 18 of Lake George) as the Emerald Queen and Snowflake Soloist, while the role of “Dorothy Gale” will be performed by Olivia Moon (Age 14 of Glens Falls) along with her special friends, Teagan Jarvis (Age 13 of Warrensburg) as the Scarecrow, Rachel Deck (Age 16 of Queensbury) as the Tin Man, and Cailyn Gordon (Age 12 of Queensbury) as the Cowardly Lion. They will be joined by theater guest performing artists and complemented with all new scenery.

This production is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council.
