Well, Tropical Storm Irene definitely wanted to let everyone know that she passed through.  Our thoughts and best wishes for a speedy recovery go out to all that have been affected by her.

Lake George has recovered and we're looking forward  to sharing the weekend with you.  The twigs and branches will be there for you to pick up when you get back.  Come relax and enjoy the last hurrah of summer 2011 with us. 

It's Time to Visit Lake George!

 

Fireworks in Lake George Village this Thursday at dusk - come and enjoy with us! 

The Lake George Antique and Classic Boat Rendezvous is happening this weekend - check it out between 10am and 3pm on Saturday.

The Washington County Fair opened yesterday and runs through August 28th - exhibits, entertainment, carnival rides, food, and of course, FUN for all!  For more information, visit www.washingtoncountyfair.com.  Just a short trip from the fair, Barry Manilow will be performing on August 25th at Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs.  For additional information, vist spac.org and call 518-587-3330.  Concert begins at 7:30pm.

Today is a gorgeous day for sailing Lake George - rent a boat and take your own private tour of the spectacular beauty of the Lake George area.  Visit Prospect Mountain and take in the views all the way to Lake Placid - a very memorable experience!

Another WOW weather day in the Lake George area!  And, tomorrow promises to be the same.  A few bumps in the road for Sunday, but definitely not a rain out.  You never lose at Lumberjack Pass - we give rain checks for those bumps in the road!

Cathy, John, and Princess joined us on the links today - John "dressed" for his mini-golf outing,  I heard he made his purchase at the outlets!  Take a look at the picture below!  Just to brag, Cathy said she had the best strawberry ice cream soda she's had in ages!Thumbnail image for Cathy, John, & Princess 081211.jpg
