It's Time To Visit Lake George by Mary Giella

Mary Giella: July 2011 Archives

We suffered with rain yesterday, but, it's gone!  It's a beautiful day in Lake George!  What's your favorite thing to do when you're here?

The Jamison Clan from Troy visited Lake George for a day last week.  They played mini golf at Lumberjack Pass and then they were heading to one of the beaches on Lake George planning a great day. They emailed me to let me know they had a blast!

Today is a perfect day for taking a carriage ride through the village, swimming, taking a cruise on the lake, or maybe you want to rent a boat and create your own adventure swimming in one of the many bays.  Did you know that our area has dinner theatres, comedy clubs and a Drive-In movie theatre?  Did you know that we call Lake George the mini golf capitol of New York?  Did you know that Lake George boasts two of the top ten craziest mini golf courses on Earth as ranked by www.entertainmentdesigner.com?  Lumberjack Pass ranked # 5 and Around the World came in at # 10!  Kudos to us!
