The Thanksgiving Holiday is the kick off for more tons of fun in the Lake George area!

The weather looks good for the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics this Saturday, November 19th - not warm, but no icicles will be forming in your hair!

For those of you travelling to or through Lake George on Thanksgiving, Giovanna's at The Georgian will be serving a buffet dinner from 11:30am with the last seating at 4:00pm - http://www.georgianresort.com/thanksgiving-at-the-georgian/The Sagamore Hotel will also be serving Thanksgiving Dinner - your choice of buffet or off the menu at The Bella Vita Restaurant. A beautiful weekend is in store!  Nice crisp autumn weather for a walk along the lake, how about a hike and then enjoy a relaxing lunch and dinner.  Before heading off to sit by the fireplace, check out the Outlets - coupon books are available at retail store locations - just stop by and ask!

The Thanksgiving Holiday weekend forecast is for cold weather - highs in the mid 30's - perfect temps to keep the heat down in the kitchen while the turkey is roasting!

We may have shorter days this week, but we are definitely enjoying sunny and mild temperatures.  It will get a little cooler tomorrow and Friday, but, the sun and great November temps return for the weekend!

Some fun things to do - Wine and Chocolate Fest on 11/18 at the Queensbury Hotel from 5:30 - 8pm.  How about following wine and chocolate sampling with a Polar Plunge for Special Olympics at 9am in Lake George on 11/19?

The Holiday Season is a great time to visit Lake George for a day, a week, or a weekend.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

The leaves are past their peak, but, there are still plenty of colors to be seen - beautiful autumn colors!

Take a stroll along the lake, browse the stores and outlets, sample some local wines and beers, ride or walk the bike trail, hike, have lunch and dinner at one of our many restaurants - so much do!  After dinner, relax in front of the fireplace!

We're looking at brilliant sunshine with daytime temps in the mid to upper 40's.  Bring a warm jacket, temps at night will be in the 20's.  Come and experience fall in the Lake George region!

Attention Rodeo Lovers!  The Adirondack Stampede Charity Rodeo will be at Glens Falls Civic Center on November 4th and 5th.   Come see top cowboys from the area and the rest of the country compete!

The weather this weekend will be beautiful for early November - abundant sunshine and temps in the upper 40's to low 50's.  It gets much cooler at night - don't forget your jacket!  We'll make sure the hot chocolate is ready when you are!
