Lake George Ranks 3rd On TripAdvisor's 10 Great Places To DiscoverLAKE GEORGE NY -- TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards for the Best Family Vacations ranked the Lake George NY Region 3rd in the 10 Great Places To Discover in the US!

There's no question that Lake George has endless things to do for families, but TripAdvisor spotlighted some of the most popular attractions and activities.

Specifically noted were Lake George's kid-friendly beaches, lake activities such as fishing and boating, steamboat cruises, the Fort William Henry Museum and of course the Six Flags Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom.

While most nods to Lake George focus only on the summer activities, the Travelers' Choice Awards also mentioned how enjoyable it can be to visit Lake George in the winter. To quote their blurb:
