Join us for the 2012 Glens Falls Walk / 5k for Kidneys held on May 6, 2012. Enjoy family activities, and raise funds for those living in the Glens Falls region living with kidney disease!  

This a great community based fundraiser that calls support to those living with kidney disease and/or waiting for a life saving transplant.  It celebrates life by paying tribute to those that have made the gift of life possble for others, educates the community about the causes and prevention of chronic kidney disease and the dramatic need for organ donation, and raises funds for community based programs of education, prevention, intervention and patient support.  

It's an event that the whole community can be a part of - family, friends, neighbors, co workers and is a great opportunity for businesses to show their support of those living and working in the region affected by this illness.  Did you know that 1 out of ever 9 people is affected?  Chances are that's YOU or someone you know.  You can make a difference - join our efforts today!

NEW this year: 5K run added to the event, so grab your sneakers and kick your fundraising efforts into high gear!  There is a $20 fee to pre-register.  Day of event registration begins at 9:00am, with the race starting at 10:00am.  An awards ceremony will follow. 

Walker registration begins at 11:00am and the walk starts at 1:00pm.
