The 5th annual Hickory Telemark Festival will be held on Saturday February 11, 2012, at the legendary Hickory Ski Center, in Warrensburg, NY.

Hickory, established in 1948, rivals Mad River Glen as a popular telemark ski destination known for its terrain varied from beginner to rugged ungroomed natural terrain and incredible tree skiing.

At this year’s Telefest, you’ll find the famous Tour De Trees, a journey of some of the best tree skiing in New York State, free demos of the latest telemark equipment and telemark clinics to fine tune your skills and provide beginners a chance learn telemark skiing.

NEW this season is the “Tele Skin Challenge Race” where skins meet terrain for challenging, backcountry climbs and downhills, with the finish at the base lodge. Watch the action on deck at the lodge, trailside or sign up to participate in this new event.
