Perch Island has long been one of our favorite single island camping sites on Lake George. There is a fabulous view to the south off a large boulder and plenty of privacy on the island itself. Perch Island is also close to Log Bay if you feel like being social. |

There is a nice dock off Perch Island, which is great for docking your boat or for jumping and swimming! We recommend bringing a few floats along for a day of fun in the water. And don't forget the camera! The picturesque backdrop makes for a great photo op! |

If you prefer sunny islands and private camping, you can have both on Perch Island. It has just the right amount of trees for privacy and a nice open spot in the main camping area that allows for plenty of sun. There is a nice path around this relatively small island that is perfect for a family of 5. |

The campsite on Perch Island offers a nice fireplace for roasting marshmallows, hot dogs, etc. A peekhole through the trees offers a great view of the lake with a blue sillhouette backdrop of the surrounding Adirondack Mountains. There is also a good sized tent platform, which is a great plus. |
