My husband and I stayed and were pleasantly surprised with our accomodations. The place was so clean..no dust, cob webs, everything was super clean...outside you have a choice to sit under trees..cook out, or play outside game with your family, it might not be the newest..but it is the clean, neat, and the staff very friendly.Our room was tidy, beds were made, fresh towels, fridge, microwave in the room. Breakfast was also included. Hotel is right off highway and away from busy town center. This is your average hotel and is priced right. Location is perfect! We also appreciated the pleasant and "can do" attitude by the manager on duty.

For the cost i planned, on our stay could have been ok, the place was clean and quiet. the reason I say this is due to an experience I had booking reservations on line. On this site I booked a 1 week stay with wife and 2 children. the application asked and I reported that children were 13 and 15 years old. I confirmed a week prior by phone( mistake: not confirming the cost!!!) but when we arrived the management stated that the rate I had gotten was for children less than 12 years old. After a 6 hour drive and a short discussion I submitted to a $15 per child per day charge, adding $180 to the bill for the week. I figured with a free breakfast it was a wash. For this cost I could have gotten more choices closer to the town, and it turns out a better breakfast arrangement. The breakfast was disappointing, having stayed at other hotels around the area, before, I was expecting hot and cold choices, eggs , oatmeal (breakfast buffet in the area less than $10/person) and whatnot instead of mimmi muffins and minni bagels. The shower was weak and quite cool, the bathroom vent howled when you turned the light on. The manager insisted that i didn't supply this information, but the application process would not proceed without this information and my kids are big, bigger than any 12 year old.The printed booking receipt didn't not specify ages just two adults and two children. I suspect this last minute tactic may have been due to the internet discount not being honored by the location. Don't get me wrong the place was ok and service (room cleaning ect. ) was good, but the last minute surprise took some of the pleasantness out of the stay.

The price was the only good thing. The room had a funky smell....(could have been musty??)
We found an empty candy wrapper under the bedspread, and the rest of the room wasnt really cleaned well. When we arrived...the girl at the front desk was on the phone, and was extremely rude to whom-ever she was speaking with. Let's hope it was not a customer! I would not stay there again.
