This Adirondack Inn is open year round and centrally located with an easy on/off location on the I-87 Northway. Let this be your luxurious home away from home while you enjoy the Adirondack region and its wide variety of seasonal activities.

Take time to drink in the majestic Adirondack Mountain vista from our wide front porch. Our five guest bedrooms are carefully appointed, with air conditioning, cable TV, refrigerator, microwave and every morning starts with a homemade, artisan breakfast made with local ingredients in our Victorian dining room.

Enjoy Schroon Lake's crystal-clear water for boating, swimming, fishing or just relaxing on the beach. Lose yourself in the beauty of the nearby Pharoah Wilderness Area and Paradox Lake area which offers all types of recreation opportunities. We are a four-season location, so come for the scenic attractions of a fall foliage season, and winter actitivies that include skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating and ice fishing. Refresh your spirits in the peace and beauty of the mountains and enjoy the warmth and hospitality of your hosts, Mark and Sharon Piper.

I had an excellent experience at the Schroon Lake B & B and would gladly return. Sometimes B & B hosts seem like pestering parents who never leave you alone. Not the case with Mark and Sharon.

Mark greeted me at the door. He was hospitable and helpful, but never overbearing. My room was neat, clean, and really comfortable. It also came with amenities I haven't found at most other B & B's: complimentary soda and water bottles, a DVD player and cable TV, a bath robe, hair dryer, etc.

Breakfast was delicious. Mark even made my meal earlier than scheduled in order to accommodate my business schedule. Three other couples were staying at the B & B when I was there; all were repeat guests. It was clear during breakfast that they saw Mark and Sharon as friends.

I did a pretty thorough study of accommodations in the area before I booked a room here. I have no doubt that I found the best place to stay. Mark and Sharon are extremely friendly and offer a top quality B & B experience. If I ever return to Schroon Lake, I know exactly where I'll stay.

WOW, what a great place! Old world charm with current amenities. We were up for the weekend, for our son's wedding. The place was just perfect. Mark and Sharon were excellent hosts and the breakfasts were incrediable. Thanks for the great experience at your bed and breakfast.

We found this delightful B & B on line when we were looking for a place to stay when we went "leaf peeking". It was indeed a delightful place to stay: cordial and interesting hosts, gourmet breakfasts, and easy access to anything we planned to do.

Great weekend. The B&B was beautiful, clean, comfortable and friendly. Our first B&B and a great experience.

Schroon Lake Bed and Breakfast was outstanding. Mark and Sharon were amazing and knowledgeable hosts. They regularly provided helpful guidance for all of our requests. Our room was clean, inviting, and spacious. The breakfast and daily snacks were made from scratch and delicious. We had an amazing time in Schroon Lake and look forward to visiting again.

On arrival we were greeted by another guest who couldn't wait to tell us how wonderful the Schroon Lake Bed & Breakfast was. After our visit, we couldn't agree more! Our room was cozy and comfortable and we really enjoyed the extra sitting room that came with it. Another great place to sit was the front porch with it's many rockers and great view of the mountain scenery. Each day started on a very pleasant note with a delicious breakfast and the opportunity to chat with our fellow guests.
A great big thank you goes to our wonderful hosts for all the effort they put into making our visit so enjoyable. We sincerely hope to be able to come up again soon.

Sharon & Mark were fantastic. You couldn't ask for better hosts. Everything was just perfect, they thought of all the little extras to make you feel so welcome and at home. We look forward to our next visit with them.

Our experience at the "Inn" was extremely positive. We visited twice during the summer and both times were as if we were visiting old friends. We were warmly greeted, ate very well and stayed in very clean and cozy rooms. For people who had never experienced staying at a Bed and Breakfast (only hotels), we were wonderfully surprised by the beautiful accommodations and professional services. Sitting on the porch and playing guitar with the proprietor/chef/friend was the icing on the cake.

Our Mountain View room is wonderful and more than adequate for us. Feels like home because we have sofas to stretch out for tv/dvd time. The breakfast is most enjoyable and special requests are accepted. The ambience and location are ideal. Most of all, the landscaping is heavenly with tons of flowers all around. Sharon and Mark, the inkeepers are warm-hearted and very accommodating. Umbrellas, anyone? How about a lift for a couple of exhausted walkers!?! How thoughtful!

We had a wonderful weekend at Schroon Lake B&B. IT was like being in our own home. The accomodations and food were really good.

My second stay with Mark and Sharon was exactly as expected. The Inn keepers continue to provide a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Great accomodations, ammenities, and of course the Breakfast!

This one of the finest BnB that we have stayed in, from the overall appearance, landscaping, personality of the owners and the cleanliness of the facility,and the food was tops also.

The close proximity to the Northway makes it an ideal place to stay. You can't get any better.

We where in a bind to find a place to stay to pickup our daughter Mariah from college. We didn't make plans ahead of time. I happen across this Schroon Lake bed and breakfast we decided to call hoping that we could stay there. When Sharon answer the phone she was so nice and it was a comfort to know. When we arrived at the Schroon Lake bed and breakfast. We where in for a treat they treated us very nice and we felt very at home. Treating us like extended family. The cottage was beautiful as was the whole experience. Thank you Mark & Sharon. Anyone thinking of staying at there Bed and breakfast will be in for a great vacation. Hope to be there again soon. Since we returned home we have been trying find a Scones recipe Similar to Marks but we haven't found one as tasty. P.S. wish Mark could send us the magic recipe.

my wife and i are potentially looking to buy property in the area. Marc ans Sharon made us feel instantly comfortable that schroon is a place that would be very easy to spend time. they were so friendly and full lof local knowledge. the B&B was great. very warm, comfortable and a lovely breakfast to send us on our way

For the last two years ten of us has come up to schroon lake. Lake bb for an ice fishing tournament. The place is fantastic and very relaxing. There's nothing like it. They are fantastic people and go above and beyond.

Realy enjoyed this inn. The staff is great and very welcoming. Definitely recommend it if you are in the area. I was there on business, but will be planning on making a vacation there soon.

We enjoyed our stay at the Schroon Lake B&B. It was a quiet, cozy retreat on a cold, snowy weekend. Our hosts were friendly, hospitable, and knowledgeable about the area. The comforts of the rooms and the scrumptious breakfasts made us feel spoiled. We would definitely recommend as a place to stay in any season.

Excellent as always. Sharon & Mark treat you as family. The rooms were like home!!! The afternoon snacks are a delight & breakfast is delicious!!! We can't wait to come back!!!
