My family and I have been booking our fishing trips with Captain JJ for over 9+years. He is the best! We have a great time with him ,everythime we go fishing. I recommend him to anyone willing to have a good time and catch a lot of fish!!!!!!!!!

We had a brief vacation at Lake George, and my two oldest kids (teenagers) wanted to forego a visit to the Great Escape for some charter fishing. I've never chartered before - we fortunately have friends with boats, or do our own shore or surf casting. After reading Jeff Johnsons bio on his site, I booked an evening excursion. The captain is someone who is extremely capable and enormously knowledgeable about what he does, and is quietly passionate about the Lake and it's environs. I think anyone who has grown up around the region understands the intense loyalty and dedication the locals have to preserving the jewel that the Lakes and 'Daks represent. When it comes to fishing, however, that local knowledge is critical, and we were entertained with a steady stream of activity. Even in fairly "challenging" conditions (unusually windy), Jeff kept his boat - and us well tended-to. A few two pounders for the kids capped an extremely enjoyable, safe, and relaxing evening. I would INSTANTLY recommend Captain "JJ" to anyone.
