Picnic Island as its name suggests is a small island for day use picnics.
Picnic Island is located in the mother bunch across from Sagamore Island and is part of the Narrow Island Group in the northern part of Lake George. You need a permit to use the day use islands and they can be obtained at the Narrow Island Headquarters Campground 518 499-1288.
