Join the Lake George Land Conservancy (LGLC) to hike the wooded trail to the top of the legendary Roger's Rock. Donated to LGLC in 1998, the 41-acre property, which includes Roger's Slide, was transferred to New York State in 2000. Trail access is gained through the State owned campground. 2.5 miles round-trip, mod-challenging hike with some steep rocky sections. Registration required at least two days in advance. Join the second annual Lake George Hike-A-Thon! Open to the public and for all ages, the Hike-A-Thon is organized by the Lake George Land Conservancy and is a one-day celebration of Lake George's trails and protected lands.
