Located off U.S. Route 9 in Lake George, the 35-acre Battlefield Park Day Use Area is a convenient picnic site within walking distance of Lake George Village and local lodging properties.
Battlefield Park
Named after the two battles that were fought at the historic site, Battlefield Park features interpetive signs throughout the property and historic statues. Enjoy a self-guided tour of the area - it's connected to the Lake George Battleground Campground. The park is a Path Through History Attraction.
The Warren County Bikeway runs through the Park, and it's also a location for the CDPHP bike rentals.
The Day Use Area
Spend time at the site's day use picnic area! There are BBQ grills and picnic tables that are open for public use, as well as two pavilions that are available for rent at a rate of $75 per day. For details about the pavilions, call 518-623-1200.
