My husband and I had a great meal at the East Cove Restaurant. We were looking for a place to have dinner, and this parking lot was packed! We stopped in and were seated right away. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We had a bottle of wine, and I had the French Onion Soup, which was very tasty and cheesy! I also had the Neptune's Medley, and that was delicious. All the fish on that platter was cooked perfectly. My husband had a shrimp cocktail, with large shrimp and a nice, spicy cocktail sauce. For his main course, he had the Chicken and Shrimp Primavera, and he enjoyed the meal very much. Our server, Ruthanne, was fabulous, too. When we return to the area, we'll definitely go back to the East Cove Restaurant!

Disagree with the other comment, brunch is definitely not the meal to go to here. It's served buffet style, and though not horrible, it's not up there as to number one places I'd pick for brunch. The day I was there, they did serve haddock as part of the brunch spread, something I thought was an interesting touch, but there's nothing particularly special otherwise in terms of what you'll find here. Dinner is ok tho, but really if you're interested in good food, and a little bit less cluttered type of atmosphere, the Log Jam is the best.

We come here with my mother-in-law "Mutti" who is a Lake George local, as it's her favorite restaurant. I love how Pete the owner greets everyone and makes sure that everyone is happy wth the food. The atmosphere and meals are fantastic, I highly recommend the East Cove. The bartender "Sam" has the best sunny personality, I just love her!
