We've had a bad experience with renting a slip from Depe Dene this season. We paid in full for our boat slip and were then asked to move from the slip two weeks later to another, less desirable one. Two weeks after that, we were returning from a day on the lake only to find another boat in our slip. The boat owner indicated that the resort owner had directed him to put his boat there. The resort owner indicated to us that he didn't know that our slip had been rented. We had to present a copy of the cancelled check to the resort owner only to have him tell us that we couldn't stay in the slip we were in for the amount we paid. One of his employees advised us to find another slip elsewhere and the owner would issue us a refund. We relocated our boat the next day to another location. Upon notifying the resort owner that we had relocated our boat from Depe Dene, were told that our money would not be refunded, but that we could have our original slip back. At that point, we had already commited to another location.

I wouldn't recommend doing business with this resort.

Depe Dene is a great place to take a vacation. Fun and tranquil. It has a large beach and plenty of boat slips. This place is overall great!
