Lake George, NY – Hot chili and hot music will be celebrated at the annual Bands ‘n Beans event at Roaring Brook Ranch in Lake George on Sunday, March 6, from 2 to 7 PM. Upwards of 50 restaurants and individuals will compete in a chili tasting contest. On two stages there will be live music by Chris Ballini, Rich Ortiz Trio, Jim Gaudet and the Railroad Boys, Stony Creek Band, Rat Tail Jimmy, Folding Sky, and Electric City Horns.
Each of the 1000 or so expected attendees is able to vote for their favorite chili in both the restaurant and individual categories. Entrants in the individual category are asked to submit at least two gallons of chili (it goes fast), and in turn receive an admission ticket ($20 value).
