The Lake George Dinner Theatre has completed casting for its 45th season production of Norm Foster’s comedy, The Love List and will be introducing three new faces to LGDT audiences this summer.
Heading up the cast of The Love List will be Jarel Davidow who also appeared in the New York production of the play when it was produced at Manhattan Theatre Source. Davidow’s other NYC credits include Of Mice And Men (Clurman Theatre), Mail Order Bride (Beckett Theatre), Room Service(Actors Studio) and For Season Ticket Holders (Lamb’s Theatre). His regional and touring credits include the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, NH Shakespeare Festival and a national tour of The Shoestring Players. His film credits include Fighting Irish, New Detroit and Fillmore Lights.

This year marks the Double H Ranch’s 20th Year of Making Dreams a Reality for campers and their families. Ticonderoga, NY Fort Ticonderoga recently received a grant from Stewart’s Foundation supporting new King’s Garden programs in 2012. The new program will encourage young visitors to learn about different vegetables, flowers and insects. The funds will specifically support the development of four new themed areas within the Children’s Garden including Flying Friends, a garden bed devoted to attracting pollinators; Vegetable Maze, a non-traditional free-form vegetable area; Edible Petals Patch, a garden devoted to plants with edible flowers; and Onion Island, a garden bed devoted to the Allium or onion genus. The Children’s Garden, located in the stunning King’s Garden at Fort Ticonderoga, offers a wonderful opportunity for families to explore beauty and nature at one of America’s oldest and most significant historic sites.

(Ticonderoga, NY) For the first time, Fort Ticonderoga and America’s National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) have partnered to connect people traveling between New York City and Montreal to one of the nation’s oldest and most significant historic sites, Fort Ticonderoga. Amtrak will offer one free companion rail fare with the purchase of one regular adult rail fare, on the state supported Adirondack line to and from Fort Ticonderoga, New York, beginning April 1, 2012 through October 31, 2012. Customers simply need to purchase tickets a minimum of 3 days in advance and enter discount code V430.. The Northbound Adirondack operates daily between New York City and Montreal, departing New York Penn Station at 8:15 am arriving in Ticonderoga at 1:17 pm.
