Since 1983, the scenic Lake George region has served as the home for Americade, which is widely recognized as the largest multi brand motorcycle touring rally in the world. The next event is scheduled for May 27 to 30, 2026, and it is expected to draw tens of thousands of riders and passengers to the Southern Adirondacks for a full schedule of exhibits, vendors, and social activities.
The area is famous for its laid back atmosphere and winding mountain roads that provide a spectacular backdrop for motorcycling. Beyond the rally itself, Lake George offers an array of restaurants, shopping destinations, and local attractions that make it a premier vacation spot for the riding community.
There is a unique excitement that fills the air when thousands of motorcycles gather in the village streets, making Americade one of the most popular annual events in the Northeast.
A central part of the week is the Americade Expo located at the Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park. This massive trade show typically features hundreds of vendors from across the globe. It is the place where motorcyclists can see the latest riding gear, accessories, and gadgets in person. Many attendees take advantage of the opportunity to have new parts and accessories installed right on site during the rally.
Throughout the week of May 27-30, 2026, participants can choose from a wide variety of activities including factory demos and guided tours. Other popular traditions often include professional rider training, stunt shows, scavenger hunts, and boat cruises on the lake.
